GRADUAL INTERVIEW
SPOILER WARNING!   ..........   Spoilers - Fatal Revenant
Tom Bracken:  I appreciated your post about pre-destination; I think modern fundamentalists take this to a point that Calvin would have disagreed with. If there is any validity to "pre-destination" at all, it is in the sense that God, like the Elohim , is present at all times and places. Enough said.

I just wanted to send you a predestination joke:
" A Presbyterian minister and a Lutheran pastor decided to trade pulpits for the weekend. They met half-way between the churches on horseback. The Presbyterian said "Isn't it wonderful that from the beginning of time, God planned it that I would go to your congregation to tell them about predestination?!" The Lutheran pastor looked at him and said "In that case, I ain't going"

Thanks! Pre-destination as it was taught to me strongly resembles the paradoxes which are so difficult to manage in time-travel stories.

Hmm. Do you suppose Linden was pre-destined to rouse the Worm of the World's End?
